| Chapter 5: Fuselage Sides As of 6/9/06 I still have not ordered any foam or fiberglass, so I have been trying to work on templates and jigs until I have enough money saved to place an order. Below are all of the jigs that are used to create and contour the longerons and fuselage sides. These jigs are cut from pine 1x8s. The plans say that all of the pieces can be made from two 8 foot lengths, but I was not that efficient in arranging the shapes on the wood, and I believe that I needed at least one extra piece.
